Re: Project Eternity/Pillars of Eternity
I really liked the trailer. I am glad I put down for the physical CE kickstarter. A modern BG/IWD/PS:T that will play like those but modernized. I am excited.

Looks neat from the trailer. What sort of gameplay is it? And what platforms?

Kickstarted old-school style PC RPG. It'll be on Windows, OS X, and Linux.ZenErik wrote:Looks neat from the trailer. What sort of gameplay is it? And what platforms?

Initial gameplay runthrough. Holy shit, this looks sexy. They really nailed the goal of "what if the Infinity Engine had just kept being updated for 15 years?" Character creation looks interesting, and I like what I heard about their plans for how stats affect your character. And it's neat that you can go the BG route for your party (pick up unique companions) or the IWD route (create your own mercenaries).

Tonight, after I finish picking up around the house, I shall be diving headfirst into this. It'll be fun juggling this and Bloodborne (and maybe some CV3 on the side).

it's def on my want list, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to buying/playing it. I suppose a sale could make that happen sooner.

I'm still bummed there was no option for a physical release. Apparently there's still a possibility, albeit diskless.
