As part of FMV Disasterpiece Theater, I have put up the first 80 minutes of the wonderful game. "A Fork in the Tale." This nonsensical piece of live-action adventure starring Rob Schneider is a sight to behold! Enjoy and let me know what you think of the game!

This playlist will be updated with more videos of the game as I continue the adventure!

No probs man still have the Physical copy of the game and had fun back in the day. The only thing is that sometimes the game would glitch for me when I make a choice and I keep repeating a certain scene over and over again :x . But overall a good FMV game if you can look past the cheesiness of it.

Nice! I had huge issues of getting it to run. Had to emulate Windows 2000 and use a very particular and unorthodox method to record the video. It worked though.

To start it off, here is a classic "suicide" scene from Harvester.

For those interested, the game that started this thread has now seen a re-release on GOG.com

I picked up a copy and have been playing it. It's quite enjoyable in its strangeness, though gameplay is rather lacking so far.

I could never get into Harvester. I feel like the game takes itself too seriously in an attempt to be shocking and make some sort of commentary on society views of sexuality, violence and morality.

As an adventure game it is very arbitrary with a tacked on combat system that seems unnecessary. The final portion of the game is almost completely nonsensical and relies almost solely on said combat system.

It just never struck me as entertaining. A more serious quality FMV game I would recommend would be Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within. The acting may be a bit cheesy, but overall it has some great quality.

Just finished up playing and recording a great FMV game, Space Pirates. What a delightful piece of schlock. Definitely one of the better FMV Light Gun games out there.

I personally love the strange mysticism placed in the game, as well as the weird voice modulation that a lot of the characters have.

Harvester is just a little to violent for me sure they were trying to push a message about ultra violence but there is a point where it's just ultra violence for the sake of ultra violence. Was a little disgusted with myself for beating it honestly :P. I would equate the feeling to how I felt after watching Hostel for the first or last time just kind of disgusted that it was deemed entertainment.

That being said it's genius in the fact that it makes me sick. Especially given how basic everything was in terms of gameplay/visuals. Really the whole game just kind of keeps you off balance in the weirdness and the ending wraps all the craziness up into a nice logical package  .

Gabriel Knight was an awesome series. Beast Within, Sins of the Fathers, they were all some of my favorites.

I also really enjoyed Ripper, but I imagine that one's best left to the rose tinted glasses of time.
