I have a newer local store w/a wall full of NES that as of 2 weeks ago had probably 250+ unique titles. I know a few were under to well under market - but I don't collect NES any longer so didn't grab anything. I wonder if I dude would let me snap a pic and send to you...maybe i'll pop in when I grab a lunch tomorrow.

Can't figure out if I want to include Caltron and Myriad 6-in-1's as separate entities. They're the same game, just a different sticker... then again, same could be said of Gauntlet/Indy/Pac-Man/RBI Baseball, and I'm definitely counting them as different in Unlicensed vs Licensed forms. Irrelevant really, the semi-official multicarts are absolutely last on my list because they're stupidly expensive and terrible games. And on that note, why did AVE make 2 different versions of Maxi 15 with different games on them?? If you have the actual answer, shut up I don't care just wanted to vent

Was about to list these on eBay but I figured I would check with you first. I have some harder to find NES games. Color a dinosaur with manual and Alfred chicken with box. Let me know

A highlight fill color for obtained games would be much easier to parse.

I wouldn't consider NintendoAge edict on what is an acceptable game. Dave over there who lives in Taiwan has been warring with them for a time over Sachen games that got US releases. They're damn near impossible to find, but do exist, yet are refused entry onto the official list, probably since it'll be a thorn in former 'complete' collectors ass to have a full set. Also they due to the prestige consider Stadium Events a licensed title, despite the fact Nintendo pulled the game/license when they bought it for World Class Track Meet to sell with their own power pad.

I'd say it's fair enough to decide on your own what really is 'complete' both from a licensed and unlicensed stand point and stick to it.

I may be able to help you. I've been fairly quiet on here the last couple of weeks because I decided to step into new muddy waters of getting away from the console old game abuse and step into the bigger league of a full size pinball table, Gold Ball to be exact. I've been using much of my spare time cleaning, tweaking, trying to fix some roaming issue with the gold ball sensor stopping the game from working at times and the center targets not registering always too with a full throttle impact of the ball off the flipper. I've been thinking I wanted an early SS style game that plays like an EM table which it is, but I'd also like one more for now.

I'm thinking I may be letting go of some more of the remaining NES and SNES games I have here and that includes holes you have like Bonk. Even with some games I'd keep, I'd let go of the valued paper like a Mega Man 5 manual. Obviously with the price of a pinball table going into 1-2K range on what I'm narrowing towards things will have to go as I don't have the budget otherwise if I do it.

I'd ignore Stadium Events, personally. I say the recall makes it "unofficial".

If I do it then it should get interesting from the NES/SNES stuff I'm not particularly in love with but keep because of the price primarily. I could live without Bonk, Wild Guns, and some others if it came down to pursuing something I'd rather have.

My feelings on the Stadium Events thing is pretty simple. Bandai released it and Athletic World (which is it rebranded for the first time.) Nintendo saw the merit in the game and that pad, they bought the games, pulled the license and recalled SE/AW and that Family Fun Fitness map so they could release both licensed by them as World Class Track Meet and the Power Pad. They're the things that sold the most, retained a license, and retained support for a good stretch right into even having a power pad pack-in system with the game again re-pressed along with SMB and DH on the same cart in the millions. Collectors who are die hard completists get pissy over that claiming because Nintendo acknowledged it in there original paperback Official Nintendo Player's Guide as Stadium Events it's therefore a legit licensed game regardless of events after it was pressed to paper. Some would argue I'm saying that because the game alone costs into the thousands, but no, it could be a 50 cent game for all I care (I have zero interest in the power pad or it in any name) but it got delicensed/recalled and re-released by Nintendo and they call the shots being the company, not a collector 25-30 years after the fact. At one time I did fancy a complete collection, got up to around 330 carts and I still would not have bought it because it was recalled. I wouldn't have taken in Athletic World either for the same reasoning.
