Ya it's a little twin stick shooter vs. zombies. I actually thought it was kinda fun, especially for a throw in. At least as good as some of the cheaper stuff you'd find on XBLA if not better.

Thank You! Is your copy confirmed on the Wii? I see mixed reviews if the Wii version has the unlock game or not.

As a holdover, I have been playing Original Xbox Hunter The Reckoning and Redeemer Twinstick shooters. Once the Machine gun is found, I am in "Robotron" style of gameplay with so many Zombies to kill! Looks like there is also a release for the Gamecube and a unique version for the PS2. Oh I have to "Hunter" them down too.

The first Hunter on the oXbox is the best of the lot. But it is more of a Gauntlet Like title, than a twinstick shooter.

Gonna call this gaming related enough so...

Browsing through goodwill I always peek at the keyboard piles hoping to find some old school mechanical board (IBM model M or something) and finally lucked out.

Its a brand new (was in a sealed plastic bag with paper work and cord was bundled nicely) Dell AT101W and I got it for 3 bucks. No picture, but it is pretty damn big, and feels solid. It has "Alps" switches that feel very similar to my MX Brown's in my current keyboard. All I need to do is get a ps/2 to USB adapter, and a ps/2 to dreamcast (for some typing of the dead action)

Got one of a few htf games from my AES want list today - have been keeping an eye out on forums for over a year and as soon as one popped up - I had a buddy ping me so I could get in and grab it:

Meanwhile, my buddy KidPanda lured me into a purchase of a DDP DFK 1.5 board...by borrowing me his...so a couple days later, I ordered one up for myself as I knew it was a matter of time and the Yen is down right now:

That's what I use and have been for years. I bought my off white one a long time ago as some sort of new old stock that showed up at a little PC parts store. Then I found a black one at Goodwill a few years back. They're good stuff.

The one that says "Gunlord Original Sountrack Composed by Rafael Dyll"?

Pretty sure that's a coaster or ashtray to plop down on your control panel to protect it while playing.

Yeah, the CE comes w/Sdtrk, poster, some bookmark thingy, and a custom stiff cardboard case w/Gunlord sticker on the spine (in addition to the normal CIB gam). Really impressive stuff for such a small developer.

Beautiful. I love the hell out of Gunlord. The artwork and music is really fantastic. I was pretty close to beating it before I got distracted by something else. I need to fire it up again.

Weird thrift store find yesterday: an original Game Boy rechargable battery pack / AC adapter complete in box with all inserts. Not that I use it anymore, but I figured it wasn't a bad snag for $2. Now I just need to find out if it still works.
