I sold my Genesis one a long time ago and just plan to buy a digital version at some point. It seems they regularly update it and patch it, so I am leery of any more physical purchases of the game.

Nah. Physical copies are nice and all that, but I recommend this version.

No. Only the sequels received a physical release.

Just found out there's a Midway compilation on PS1 bearing the crappy title of "Arcade Party Pak." Who knew!?
