Usually the only person you need to listen to! And your girl...

Lots of Lilly Allen for me. Bubble gum pop with wit. It's no Mozart, but it will get your toes tapping.

Music is like life. You will only enjoy it if you have a sense of humor.

Not music, but:

MrCreepyPasta narrating "Abandoned by Disney", though it's hosted on CreepsMcPasta's account after some issues involving creepypasta author Slimebeast, since he didn't think it was fair that MCP was getting ad money from narrating his stories and asked for their removal.

This is yet another album that takes so much flack for being a departure in style for the band, but when it's divorced from any sort of preconception it is absolutely brilliant. I have to be in a certain mood, but when the mood strikes this is pure ambrosia. Melancholy but hopeful. Aggressive but tender. Heavy but floaty. I can honestly say I this is one of my favorite double albums of all time.
yeah i liked that record. it took a while but i enjoyed it. it's definitely a departure from Red & Blue, which is an even larger departure from First/Second, but overall i like this band.

y'all like that new Torche record? been jamming it pretty hard.

Aphex Twin- Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt 2.
Image

Screw you OCD collectors, there is no Pt 1!

So, this new EP from Aphex Twin sounds like what the title claims it to be, but since there is no part 1, I wonder if these sounds are actually computer controlled acoustic instruments. They certainly sound like it, but you never know with Richard.

This is a fun flippant little recording that is full of transient ideas, but it's not the densely woven kind of product that a full length Aphex release is. It has funky moments, eerie moments, quiet moments. It's really a lovely record that can be enjoyed in under a half hour. It's not an epic, but it's certainly a good listen. I would love to see the robots perform the music, since I am imagining it is something like Squarepusher's Music for Robots.
