If you're waiting for Sacred Line, just to warn you I emailed them the other day, as it was marked as "shipped" well over a week ago and I still haven't received my tracking number/information. They got back to me and apologised that in actual fact it hadn't even shipped yet. They said they were dealing with an overwhelming number of orders and it got marked as shipped because that's what happens when they print the address for the envelope and package the item.

^yeah, hopefully you got yours now? mine came in yesterday!
weird that Pier Solar has to be reset to work on a non-TMSS system, but i wish they'dve told me that Sacred Line absolutely won't boot on said system at all, now im out here looking for a ROM of it just to play on my Mega ED...

Nope, still waiting... And still no tracking number. I'm thinking I'm going to have to send them another message asking them what the hell is going on.IrishNinja wrote:^yeah, hopefully you got yours now? mine came in yesterday!

What's a "non-TMSS system"? I have a Mega Drive II. Will it work on my system?

That refers to systems that don't start up with "licensed by Sega" when you first turn them on. At least with US Genesis machines, that's only early model 1 machines.Reprise wrote: What's a "non-TMSS system"? I have a Mega Drive II. Will it work on my system?

Thanks. I did a bit of Googling and yeah, it seems to only be early model 1 machines. Not sure if it's the same with early model 1 PAL machines, but my model 2 has the "licensed by Sega" start up anyways.Hobie-wan wrote:That refers to systems that don't start up with "licensed by Sega" when you first turn them on. Most but not all of the "High Definition Graphics" European Model 1 Mega Drives are non-TMSS but unfortunately there's no way to tell the difference at a glance like with the US models.Reprise wrote:Thanks. All of the systems after the early "High Definition Graphics" ones have the TMSS.

For those wondering, here's Watermelon's statement. When I saw they had emailed me with an official statement, I was hoping it would be about those of us who are, 16 days later, are still waiting for our tracking number, let alone the game itself
You are getting this email because you've purchased Sacred Line Genesis (Bits and Limited edition) in the past.
We wanted to inform you that the games shipped from February 2015 has a programming bug.
This bug affects a some people, please read below:
If your Mega Drive or Genesis shows the "Licensed by Sega" text at power-on, you wont be affected.
The issue will only trigger on Mega Drive 1 or Genesis Model 1, non-TMSS (without the "Licensed by Sega" text).
If affected: The game will not start on those systems.
A workaround: None are known at the moment.
A definitive fix: We cannot fix the issue at the moment, we will get back to you when any updates.
Persons willing a refund or having questions can contact the costumer support. To make it simple, if you didn't receive your shipped games yet, we would appreciate you contact us after having received them.
We apology again for the late announcement and are very sorry of the trouble it induce. We will keep everyone informed.

Re: How's Your Sega MegaDrive/Genesis Gaming Going On?
Went and took all my games out for the Genesis. The amount of games that I have is crazy and there are titles that I still want. I'm at 208 games. I'm going to have to skim down thru my Genesis collection. Maybe I'll jus keep the top 100 games and toss the rest to people here.
