Gamer's Edition (physical indie games)

It looks like IndieBox has done some inspiring. This Gamer's Edition site is now putting out collectors edition of various indie games. They look nice, though the prices are pretty up there...

The Hotline Miami 1+2 package is a nice one, the other for Papers Please seems just kind of wrong. Miami has 2 discs, one game per disc and other fun items. Papers Please gives you all fluff, no game and costs $10 more so that seems like a missed opportunity there.

Maybe you have to fill out some forms in triplicate at a notary public and send them in to get the actual disc.

They look nice but damn those are high prices and they aren't doing runs until they get enough orders so they aren't really putting a ton of money up front aside from making the sample packages and advertising. At least they don't charge you until they get enough orders to print it but I don't really like this type of order system.

Another thing that ticks me off is the small print below the buy now button.
*Price inclusive of tax. Shipping extra. Ships worldwide. Estimated delivery August 2015.
They really would be better off making a collector's edition with about $10-15 worth of stuff and charging $20-30 then trying to sell these really nice but expensive sets.

They are kind of high when you consider the Indiebox stuff isn't much less and for like $25 for leftovers of previous months and less if you get a sub.

Hah nice.

I already have the game through that GoG insomnia sale. It's interesting, too easy to die early on, but I think if you memorize the documentation and procedures it would be fantastic.
