Decided to take a punt on Final Fantasy Type-0. Had to watch a lot of videos on youtube to convince me (and I found it for a good price), but it looks interesting and, most importantly, it has a classic FF style over world. Hooray for overworlds!

Decided to take a punt on Final Fantasy Type-0.

From what I've played of it on my PSP it seems like a winner. Really pushes what the PSP can do. So hard actually that you can't do wireless co-op on the PSP1000 with it, because it uses too much processing power. The PSP2000 and 3000 can handle it adhoc though.

How's the combat? I've seen vids where people are really flowing and chucking out magic everywhere, and then I've seen vids where the player is struggling to connect hits. Does it have a good flow?

I think the flow of combat is fine. But I'm more acclimating than some folks so there's a bias there.

I played the Type-0 demo at PAX this weekend. I was kind of lukewarm on it. Felt kind of button mash spammy and the camera annoyed me. The demo was actually getting a bit olD and repetitive. That being said, RPGs, even action ones, tend to not demo well. I am still keeping my pre order.

FFXV on the other hand was pretty awesome.

I don't know where to go with this but how would I be able to download old xbla titles that aren't on the marketplace anymore? My buddy was telling me how he has xmen and the turtles game and outrun. Is there a code or something?

maybe he gets an exclusive acess from his account to download those games...

its like nintendo removing tetris from VC, people who bought it can still download it again later even if its not on eshop anymore.

also i was thinking how cool it would be if Capcom made Resident Evil Outbreak 3 with online play
