Not a fan of repros myself.

.....Unless you guys happen to have a Nintendo World Championships repro. ;)
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

So, did a little retrogaming run yesterday. Didn't find anything mindblowing, but did come up with the following stuff:

Pitfall II (Atari 2600)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (2600, exchanged for dead copy)
Fortified Zone (GB)
Conker's Pocket Tales (GB)
Blue Stinger (DC)
Soul Reaver (DC)
Sonic 2 (GG)
Sliders (GG)
Lion King (GG)
Endless Ocean: Blue World (Wii)

Happiest about the Pitfall and Blue World acquisitions, and I think I actually already had Sonic 2...

I just eBayed a copy of Guardian Legend NES. I got sick of hearing about how good it was and I knew it wasn't very expensive so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Really looking forward to trying it out.

Good find. That game is certainly a curiosity, and I hope to add it to my collection some day as well.

If you end up not liking the dungeon bits (hopefully you will) you can play it as a straight shooter by using TGL as a password.

Guardian Legend rules.

And most Brøderbund games have remained cheap(-ish) for whatever reason.

Yeah, The Guardian Legend is my favorite shooter on NES. Even if it isn't a pure shooter. I still remember my elation at finding that for sale at our local video store back in the day. Bought it along with Dragon Warrior III. :)

I just picked up Mischief Makers and Jet Force Gemini for the N64, been worried about their value for a while now, so happy to get them on the cheap. I actually didn't know some people to consider both of those games to be hidden N64 gems, because I rented the CRAP out of them as a kid.

Mischief Makers is still great stuff. Jet Force Gemini is a game that really begs for a remake with a modern-day control scheme. I couldn't even play it the last time I booted it up. :( Take a similar approach to what they did with Perfect Dark on XBLA or something and it'd be perfect.

I am working from home today, and I decided to take advantage of the WayForward sale by downloading Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition and Might Switch Force 2. The games are 75%(!) off on the WiiU Nintendo eShop right now; so, you can purchase them for about $2.50 each. (In other words, you can get both game for just over $5.)

Since I am in the mood for inexpensive downloadable games, I might also go ahead and download Gunman Clive and Gunman Clive 2 for my 3DS since I did just finish up Kirby Triple Threat and need something else to play...
