No one is backing someone because they are friends. Sure, I like David, but i've probably argued with him more than any other member on this forum. In this case you are the one attacking and insulting, you are being obstinate, and you are deflecting / rationalizing. Accept that you could be in the wrong?

I'd accept I was wrong if I felt I was. One can only take being crapped on by the same person so many times before they've had enough and I'm passed that point which is why I have him on post block as it is. Yet even then it still continues and I see pieces of it when quotations are used. Blocking solved nothing. None of this would even be an issue if better judgement were used if he had blocked me as well or had the control to just say nothing. That really is the point of it. The old classic mom quote of if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all fits.

I see going in circles about this will solve nothing anyway so we either drop it or whatever happens happens I guess as I don't have any say in the matter anyway.

The lack of will to change my tone speaks nothing about me, just that I don't see a need to accommodate rude individuals. I can behave very much different when the situation is nicer and that's why I said I can't see that changing, because I don't see the snark directed at me going away.
The fact that you have previously banned from another forum and that several people dislike your posts lends much to the fact that the problem lies with you. There are others that bring up regularly being annoyed by your posts to the mod team as opposed to being openly vocal about it. That fact that we haven't banned you simply for being un-neighborly shows how much leeway you've been given despite the repeated annoyance.

Sometimes one needs to say something to correct bad behavior. People are responding to statements from you that they find annoying. Nobody is making posts to provoke you. They're simply responding to your thorny statements. The circle starts and stops with you, so it is up to you to improve.

Well I can not change how I feel about various sujects. I know it bothers collectors and Im fine with that. Its feeling like another nintenoage here on the whole and I can accept that. I just cant change how I feel about subjects to make some people feel happier as Id be lying to myself and not being true. It says much people are so offended by my feelings which says a lot how the hobby has changed. I guess in the end whatever happens will happen.

It has nothing to do with how you feel about a subject, as others are trying to say it's that you make the arguments personal.

Most of us on this forum have gone at each other with major disagreements on various subjects and it can get pretty heated but at the end of the day it's just a discussion and we're still friends.

Debates are good. Fights are not.

You just don't get it. Everyone has different opinions. I hold the unpopular opinion that Deus Ex is a terrible piece of shit, yet Mr Popo and I can hold a running joke about our difference of opinion and I manage to not get in arguments with people when I remind people I don't like it. It is all how I present it. However you hold some ideas in your head (in all threads, not just this one specifically) that are very different than demonstratable facts. You present these and your opinions in an acidic way that annoys people. This is where you need improvement.

Nintendo Age is a very different place than Racketboy, yet you still ruffle feathers. Again, if everywhere you go all you see are assholes, perhaps it is not all of these other people.

How do you make yours? I like mine popped on the stove in a pot using coconut oil, best flavor imo.

It was just the microwave variety today. Nothing exciting.
