I had no idea. I examied the box thorougly. There's no mention of a free sample of fruit roll ups on the exterior of the box. I guess I learned something new today. I'm probably not going to bother tracking down a twenty-two-year-old treat though. Having the cart and the manual in the box with the hangtab intact is OCD enough for me.
Here's an idea of how it would probably look and taste.

I've got to assume that a guy named "Gunstar Green" knows more about Gunstar Heroes than I do. I'm tempted to by a new box of Fruit Roll Ups just to stick one Fruit Roll Up in my Gunstar Heroes box, but I'm also concerned that the darn thing will melt and cause me grief. I don't like the taste of Fruit Roll Ups anyway.

Still waiting on the cdx adapter. Let ebay know that I didn't get it yet. I'm going to be so pissed off if he says he lost it or some crazy stuff like that

I feel for ya Mas. We've all had experiences of ebay wins getting "lost".

Thanks but I have been waiting for this for a while. I better get the thing. Have the cdx just waiting to be played. I do have a 9v 1amp cord but i feel it will damage the thing so I'm not touching it

Dear lord...

Those paper bags that fruit snacks used to come in brought back memories though.

...

In other news I picked up a few Genesis games for the first time in a long while today.

Air Buster and Burning Force, both of which I've been looking to add to my collection and both of which I was pleasantly surprised to find in the wild for a good price.

Gadget Twins because it was there and cheap and the art style is appealing.

I've been trying to pick boxed copies of all the Namco Genesis titles so Burning Force was an especially great find (Dsh saw it first but he was merciful  ).

Started playing Herzog zwei with my brother. We use to rent this a lot as kids and play for hours. Brings back memories.

Which CDX adapter are you waiting on? The official Sega adapter?
I got my replacement power supply from Retrogamecave. Those work great.

The Sima SUP-60 is also fully compatible with the CDX as well as the X'Eye.
I got that one a few years ago off of eBay. Nice to have as a backup.

$20 is actually a pretty reasonable price. Those can be hard to find.
