Let's take a moment to talk about the original Xbox.

So I just got an original Xbox for 2.00. Console only but found av cords and a power cord. Also got a controller bit damn controller dont work so just got another one. Everything was 22.00 or so. Not bad. Hopefully the first controller is a bad controller and the other one works and its not the controller port on the Xbox.

Sad part is; it's pretty hard to find working Xbox controllers. I've went through about 7 of them, and I've only really gotten 2 to work; and even then, they both act kinda finicky.

System and games work great. Controller is in great shape. Think I'll play soul xalubur this weekend. Thought spawn was a great character for the Xbox. The controller feels really good in your hands.

Ive been playin Soul Calibur II on GameCube recently, getting my Link on!

Too bad hes not in the SCII HD Online edition for the PS3.

Maybe someday we'll figure out a method to have crossplay so that Link can fight Spawn in Soul Calibur II. Heihachi will be the special guest referee.

What other games should I get on the original Xbox that still is playable that were Xbox exclusives?.
Wanted to try brute force but don't know how that plays.
In time I will collect the 2d games for it. Like capcom vs snk2 kof series.

Brute Force has some annoying issues. The levels can sometimes be bland, there are few weapon or enemy types. It also has the old style third person controls where your character will turn to face the screen. Having said that, though, there's something about this game that pulls me back into it at least once a year for a play through. The graphics are decent and the gameplay IS fun, if not perfect. It also supports 4 player split screen for both multiplayer and co-op and can usually be found for $5 or less. Don't go in expecting the best game in the world, but it's a good game.

Hey everyone.
Well I have been out again on a back injury. Hemorrhage disc and my pelvic and spine was out of place so I have been playing original xbox. Right now besides playing soul calibur 2 and the capcom classics I got from my good friend Jim from here, I also am playing destroy all humans. Its a good game. I think its funny as hell and the captain alien or so say who helps you out is the same voice as the enemy from skylanders. I also got a bunch of games for free from a friend at work and from another person from craigs list. I have 25 games now. I put most away in a box for now and trying to beat one game at a time. Also still looking and saving my money.

If you enjoy the first game, you will definitely love its sequel. It takes everything the first game did and does it even better. You can probably get it very cheap online.
