...because they're great.

If you need a list of really fun GB/GBC games that still hold up really well, let me know.

Based on your other posts, I suspect that you would really like:
Dragon Warrior III (GBC)
Final Fantasy Adventure (GB)
Final Fantasy Legend (GB)
Final Fantasy Legend II (GB)
Final Fantasy Legend III (GB)
Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GB/GBC)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (GBC)
Lufia: The Legend Returns (GBC)

Moreover, no GB/GBC collection is complete without:

Donkey Kong (GB)
Kirby's Dream Land (GB)
Kirby's Dream Land 2 (GB)
Mario Golf (GBC)
Metal Gear Solid (GBC)
Operation C (GB)
Super Mario Land 2 (GB)
Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land (GB)
Toki Tori (GBC)
Wario Land 2 (GBC)
Wario Land 3 (GBC)
...among dozens and dozens more!
Check out the 600 Games Challenge in my sig. Most of those games are on the list I'm playing through, problem is I haven't gotten to them yet, and the games I have played have been... questionable... I actually did not care much for Mario Golf, which was sad as I LOVE the N64/GC versions.

Here is what I've played
Here is what I'll be playing

I'm hoping it'll get better, and I'm expecting it to.

You have some great games listed there. I am glad to see Mole Mania and Mario's Picross. I love puzzle games, and those are two of my very favorite.

I've had no shortage of enjoyment with my PS4 and Xbox One, including with lots of great and original exclusives to those consoles. Sorry, s1mple, I don't find them boring at all.

I do occasionally dust off my Wii U to play iteration #12837210 of some Nintendo IP, though.

I'll be very late to the party at best.

The lack of worthwhile games is mind-boggling.
While i probably will be waiting till sometime in 2016 to get a PS4/One, there are a few games on the One id love to play, but they are sequels/remasters, nothing original.

For Xbox One id love to play:

Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Killer Instinct (its actually on a disc now!)
Forza Horizon 2 (on 360, but dont own a 360)
Forza Motorsport 5
Forza Motorsport 6 (not yet released)

Unfortunately, the PS4 has nothing to offer me, but sequels of already established series like, Uncharted 4, God of War IV or a reboot, Gran Turismo 7, but that isnt going to launch till 2017.

Hopefully something completely new and original comes out for the PS4 that makes me salivate.

It's all Reboots/Sequels/Remasters as far as the eye can see!

I pre-ordered Call of Booty: Assignment Assault CE. I can't imagine the goofy bits this is going to have.

Has anyone played Starfox Assault and is there really no way to target enemy ships, or use rapid fire? Maybe there is a button for those, but I didn't see it?

There's no rapid fire, and locking on requires you to hold down the shoot button to launch a charge shot at the locked on enemy.

It's surprisingly tough to find accurate release dates for really old games.
