I thought the 360 has a bad d-pad thing was a myth until I started playing modern fighting games with it. Trying to do the fatality sequences in Mortal Kombat (MK9) is a nightmare. Look at me! I'm jumping in the air over and over until you die!

There are throws and moves I found impossible to perform on the 360 in Virtua Fighter due to that D-pad. God, I hate that thing.

360 pad works really nice for shmups - not for fighters.

I am a big fan of the Rock Candy pads - use them as my go to for 360 and PC gaming.
