Persons you would invite to dinner, lunch, breakfast...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Man there have sure been some good ones so far. In an effort to keep things fresh I will refrain from repeating any, if possible, even if they would rank higher on my list than some of the people that do make it onto my list.

J. R. R. Tolkien
Gunpei Yokoi
Stan Lee
Elizabeth I
Keith Richards
Chrissie Hynde
Hugh Laurie
J.S. Bach
Angelina Jolie

Maybe not as profound as some peoples', but I'm not ashamed of my interests :)

Hmmm... (Lord Hmmm to be proper)

George Carlin, because there's no way I couldn't!
Mel Brooks to keep it from getting too serious.
Arthur C. Clarke, because he is far and away my favorite writer. I very much look up to him.
Jesus, to see if he really looks like me.
Satan, to get a little point/counterpoint thing going.
Bill O'Reilly, so I could knee him in the face.

I'd have to really think about it but here's a short list of people I'd like to have a conversation with:
Linus Torvalds (so I can finally talk to someone in real life about Linux)
William Shakespeare (mainly to tell him that I hate his plays :P)
Cliff Burton
John Carmack

Good to find another Clarke fan. What's your favorite Clarke book? I would probably go with Childhood's End but surprisingly it's a close call between that and The Light of Other Days.
