Not much added. Just haven't found a lot to snag, unfortunately. I did get Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and as I said elsewhere, it feels a lot like an indie game polished to a mirror sheen. Cool stuff for sure.

So, my last post was removed after the site update, so I'll add it again.

I got these as gifts recently;

Williams Arcade's Greatest Hits (Genesis)
Joust (NES)
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

I grabbed some random games the other day:

Call of Juarez: The Cartel (360; CIB)
Galaga Destination Earth (GBC)
Lucha Libre AAA Heroes del Ring (PS3/CIB)
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (XBOX; CIB)
Turok (PS3; CIB)
Urban Chaos: Riot Response (XBOX; CIB)
You Don't Know Jack Mock 2 (PS1; CIB)

I am randomly excited about Luch Libre, and I can confirm that Galaga Destination Earth is dreadful. Do any of you have any thoughts on these random games?

Hard to believe, I know, but Hasbro Interactive's Galaga Destination Earth on the Gameboy Color is just awful. (I am keeping it because it has Galage in the name...but that is the only reason... )

So, found a decent pickup in the GameStop I stopped in while heading to the Gulf Coast. I went in looking for the third Legend of Heroes game, which they were supposed to have, but didn't, but found a disc-only copy of Hexyz Force. Yes, it set me back $17, but it sells for twice that on eBay, so I figured I'd better jump on it. I also snagged a copy of Endless Ocean at the same time. I'll probably scout for Blue World at some point, but I'm thinking I won't get any more fortuitous stops like that on this trip, it's all work. Just happened to eat right next to this particular GS.

Endless Ocean although not as much of a "game" as Blue World is, I found to be equally as good in different ways. It's much more laid back and free form. It also has a superior abyss area and actual cave diving as well (Blue World barely has any cave diving). That said you can actually beat Endless Ocean by uncovering its linear story and seeing that aspect to completion. Both are magnificent games, enjoy!
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

I've been looking for the third (which is really the fifth) LoH game for some time too. I'll cave and buy it online eventually. I still need the first in the series (well, the English Turbo CD version) too but the prices are insane.

I have yet to play Hexyz Force, but I lucked out and found it at an anime convention for $7 last summer. Looks like it could be cool.

Here are the random games I grabbed this morning:

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record (360; CIB)
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage (360; CIB)
Guilty Gear Dust Strikers (DS; CIB)
Spy vs. Spy (XBOX; CIB)
You Don't Know Jack (WII; CIB)

Thoughts on these? Since I am trying to complete my Xbox collection, I splurged a bit on Spy vs. Spy.
