According to VGchartz, the 3DS sold more units this week than PS4, XboxOne,PS3, 360, Wii, Wii U, and PS Vita combined. If that is not amazing for a 4 year old device I don't know what is.

I must be missing something seriously good on that device, it can't be because Mario Kart and Zelda, or is it?

I think VCchartz can't be really trusted since they are making up the numbers until they get an official announcement and fix it.

So Nvidia just announced a new console, those are the specs:

The set-top box and console hybrid packs a Tegra X1 processor, which sports a 256-bit Maxwell GPU with 3GB of memory. Its body features a MicroSD slot, a Micro USB 2.0 port, two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, gigabit Ethernet port, and HDMI port.

The Nvidia Shield supports Android Bluetooth 4.1 and dual-band 801.11ac Wi-Fi connections, 7.1 and 5.1 surround sound over HDMI and an IR receiver.

I wonder if I can use it as a WDTV replacement. It will be cool if it can do GameCube/PS2 emulation. its the better Ouya I guess...

The PS2 is 15 years old today (first launched in Japan on March 4th, 2000).

Only the best console of its generation. I still play mine on a regular basis.

I was playing the godawful American/European version of Magical Drop III so I switched to the Japanese one.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THE BRUTALITY OF THE HARD MODE. I can't make it past Fool. Yes, Fool, the guy with the permanent runny nose. Geez!

On normal mode, I still get my butt kicked by Empress and Tower. On Magical Drop II I almost always beat Strenght and after that, Empress isn't too difficult but the couple times I've made it all the way to Black Pierrot I had a brain fart and couldn't beat him.
