As far as controllers are concerned, I can't find anything official, though there are a few converters to allow PlayStation controllers, and Mass Systems makes a "Super Pro Stick" compatible with the console.

As for accessories...I found an RGB converter, as well as a joystick extension cable and memory card. Also, the Japanese joystick looks a bit different from what I can tell.
One Joystick
Two Joystick
Red Joystick
Nobody makes them in blue, apparently.
Other than that, I can't find anything else.

The original square stick:

and below the pad that came wit the CDZ
Then there is the "kidney bean" aka new style stick:

Neo-Geo.com is gonna have all the info you'll need. Be sure to comment on the exclusive CD games like SS RPG and Cross Swords 2.
The MAS stick was just compatible, not offical but a hell-a lot of owners bought them because they are so good (if you like US style sticks/buttons). I still see them today because it is so easy to mod it to work with PS2, etc.

The best emulator I have found was Kawaks which allows for emulation of NeoGeo, CPS-1 and CPS-2 (the capcom arcade platform). It also offers Netplay through Kaillera a networked multiplayer format for emulators. It is incredibly reliable, easy to use and allows both AES and MVS play.

WinKawaks is OK, but I actually prefer Nebula. Give it a try sometime. There's also Final Burn Alpha.
