funny i read this thread, i just had a SMB3 game night with my friends who hadn't played the game in ages. they still loved it! one of my female friend still in love with Galaga (just want to throw that out there). though i barely touch the controller that night, i love watching them all play. they couldn't believe i still own these "old" consoles. haha.

Tested my setup tonight - yep yep, the s-video on the projector from 8bits works splendidly, since I don't have speakers, i'm setting up my Samsung GX Gamers TV right next tot he projector and i'll split the R/W stereo cables back to the TV and that gives off boss sound - thanks 8bits!

Kids are quite excited - we've been hyping it all week and the mario carts have been flowing in from across this great nation - our bodies are ready.

I'm down for a little bit of this. I need to try and finish Super Mario Advance 3 anyway. I'll play on Saturday.

I thought you sold (or tried to sell) the GXTV?

I've listed it, but only for local pick up really - it's about 50lbs - haven't used it in a good while, but it's going to come in handy now.

Early on in the proceedings:

This camera is crap - doesn't do the image justice, 6' Across, 4' High - brilliant definition - even with daylight coming in. Getting dark now and looks even better. Stuck on the 8-2 jump right now...should be on to SMB2 soon!

I am glad to see you guys are having fun!!

Now can I sell you an inexpensive Panasonic point and shoot camera that will do a 10x better job at taking pics!? I've got one sitting in my drawer with my other chargers that is going to waste... I bet you could make good use of it just like you are the projector!
