Super Mario Weekend - Join Us! SMB1, 2, 3, World, 64

Greetings!

My kids (11, 9, 7, 4) and I will be having a Super Mario Weekend this coming Friday-Sunday. We have been thinking of a dedicated gaming weekend for some time and the picture SB posted in this thread yesterday convinced us it was time!

Please join us if you can!

Our plan is to beat all the Super Mario Console games; in order. Here is our plan - feel free to tweak yours as needed:
Friday: Super Mario Bros 1
Friday: Super Mario Bros 2
Saturday: Super Mario Bros 3
Saturday: Super Mario World
Sunday: Super Mario World 2
Sunday: Super Mario 64 (I don't expect to beat this in 6-8 hours)

We will also have Super Mario pajamas, treats, and meals. Please post pics if you decide to join along!

I might join in on the fun as well, there are a couple games in that list that I, embarrassingly, have never played to completion.

Looking forward to seeing what Mario-themed treats and meals you have planned too.

Been meaning to replay 64 for some time now..... Maybe I will Sat/Sun.

EDIT: Forgot how long this is... Maybe I will START the game on Saturday or Sunday.

We'll see about jumping in with something, too. My son keeps asking me to finish Super Mario 3D World, maybe this would be a good occasion to do so.

Definitely stream if you can! I've got stuff going on most of this weekend, but i'd spend my friday night in twitch chat if you were streaming.

Mike how far away is Minneapolis from you? Ironically, I just read that they have the FASTEST internet in the country now.
