Is the Dreamcast Keyboard good for anything other than TotD?

Post by Krooze L-Roy »

That's "Typing of the Dead" for those who suck at decoding acronyms.

I've had the game sitting around for quite some time now, but only recently did I acquire a keyboard. So should I toss it next to the other obscure controllers I hardly ever use (DK bongos, fishing rod, U Force... Wiimote-OH!), or should I keep it handy for some other game you're gonna tell me about?

There's an Evangelion typing game, it's pretty unplayable if you don't know japanese though. There's scummvm, but last time I tried it it didn't work all that well.

Totd is not an acronym, acronym is a set of letters that are arbitrated but can pronounced in an actual word. Arbitration is a set of letters that fail to make a word and which case you put a period between each letter.

it should have been used T.O.T.D.

Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 are both compatible with the mouse keyboard combo! I haven't used them in a few years, but it's just like a PC!
Typing of the dead is the goofiest concept for a console game. Or really almost any game for that matter.

I used to pwn back in the day at Q3A on DC. I learnt to use K+M on that game and then started FPS gaming on my PC hehe! That was back in the day when I had the shitty old 'family pc'.
