PSP's possibly bricked , want to bring them back to life

Post by s8n »

hi guys , im thinking of buying a bulk lot of PSP's for some fun ive been diagnosed with depression recently and i need a pick me up.

so yeah there a x3 100x models and one 300x , im mostly interested in the 100x models and im thinking they will be bricked due to a firmware upgrade or CFW install.

if im correct a Pandora Battery and making my own Magic Memory Card will bring them back from the dead.

what do you guys think ?

If bricked then, yes, it should bring them back. I did it with one of mine. Its been a while, but I remember finding a good site that showed how to make the Pandora battery and magic stick, it was really easy. Good luck.

Good luck with this.
Be warned though, sometimes there are more issues with a defective item than expected. I agree that fixing something can boost your morale, but failure can have the opposite effect. If it's been in water, for example, there's not much you can do.

On the other hand,
If you can even get one working again, I'd call it a success (even if the UMD drives are shot; custom firmware rules!).

Also keep in mind that even if the system is borked, some parts (like the screen) can still be useful for fixing other systems.
...just another lost soul...
