Demo disc that came with SCPH-1001 PS1
I am seeking information about the demo disc that was included with the original US PlayStation SCPH-1001. I believe this is the box for the SCPH-1001 and it says "Free Demo Disc Inside" on the bottom right corner. Does anyone know anything about this disc? Anyone know what games were included on it? Better yet, does anyone have this disc to take pictures of for me?

This is suprisingly hard to find info on. I checked my original box to see if it listed the contents of the demo packed inside, but it doesnt. Unfortunately, when I got my console, it didn't have the demo disc with it.
If I had to guess, it'd be this one (especially since all the games there were launched either with the PS1, or shortly after (1995)):

Evidently there is a "Green Disc" version, which was the one I believe was included with the console as well as a "Purple Disc" version which was possibly given to employees, stores, etc.

Same demo disc as the PlayStation (Purple Picks), which was included with all launch day model PlayStation systems.

I can confirm that is definitely it. I had a launch model and I remember playing the heck out of the Wipeout and Jumping Flash demos. I also watched the Warhawk demo over and over until I was able to secure the full game after Christmas that year.

Yeah the demo discs on the PS1 were incredibly memorable and I probably sunk more time into the demo discs than the actual games. The Jersey Devil/Tomba/Blasto demo disc consumed my life at the time. I never bought any of those games, but I played hours of the demos. Not even sure how I obtained them as I never subscribed to the magazine or anything, but damn I appreciated those demos. I don't remember ever owning the launch demo, but I think it's because my first PS1 was the dual shock set.

Yeah the PS1 had a lot of different awesome demo discs. I love collecting the demos for it think I have around 10 or so in my collection I'll check through later.
