Cool. Thanks for the recommendation Nemoide. I haven't heard of that one, so I will have to keep an eye out for it.

I can accept the flaws of this show but you CANNOT admit this is not a kickass intro, is attack on titan btw.

Attack on Titan is not bad. I had been watching it on toonami until they decided to start re-running and I took it off the DVR.

I got super lucky a couple weeks back, snapped up a normally $70-100 box set of Lupin the Third Final Haul off ebay for $30. Lupin is my fix, so it's good now that I've got both sets of 10 movies combined to watch whenever. Now that most the Ghibli movies from Disney have been put to blu-ray thinking I may snap up a good many of those too, some are a snore but many of them are really good.

Akatsuki no Yona

Just started it the other day and already watched through the 20 episodes that have aired so far. Usually I'm not a huge fan of shows with a Fuedal Japan setting but I'm really enjoying this one. The characters are just really interesting, the pacing is decent, and the story is pretty entertaining especially with the villain being such a complicated character.

Also started watching Durarara!! not super impressed by it so far only two episodes in though. Seems really slow to me does it pick up later or is this pretty much it? It's like it's trying to be to deep and it's getting bogged down by it.

I wouldn't say it's trying to be philosophically deep or anything like that. It's just got a fairly large cast of characters, which it goes through and shows motivations, connections, and so on for. Once it starts establishing those, it gets more interesting.

Finished watching Stein's;Gate, which was great. Slowly working my way through Cowboy Bebop again, since I got around to upgrading to Blu-ray. Otherwise I've mostly watched movies - The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Short Peace, Memories, The Wind Rises, and Paprika (which made no more sense on Blu-ray than it did on DVD), offhand. Also re-watched Wizards if that counts as anime

See any similarities here to Fairy Tail characters?

Image

Guy on left looks like Jellal.
Guy in middle resembles Natsu?
Girl on right looks like lucy
Creature on right is Lucy's celestial spirit
Guy above and to the left of Jellal lookalike looks like Droy

Maybe I need to play this game now because I love Fairy Tail.

Edit: Alright looked it up. It's by the same creater, so I guess he just borrowed some of the same characters for Fairy Tail.

And lemme tell ya hwhat, I love it. So many exploding heads and unrealistic physics and punchpunchpunching. Fan-freakin'-tastic.

On another note, a buddy and I made a site, wtfismyanimeidea.com (slightly NSFW due to lots of language). It randomly generates silly (sometimes awesome) anime ideas :D
I love Fist of the North Star. It's like Mad Max cranked up to eleven. What an awesomely bad anime. This is brilliant ultraviolence.

I recently watched Digital Monster X-evolution: the Thirteenth Royal Knight. You'd have to be a pretty hardcore fan of digimon to get interested in this one. There is an elaborate backstory (regarding the Digital Hazard virus and X-antibody) that is hinted at, but not fully explained in the movie. Also, the CGI by Imagi (who made Astroboy and TMNT CGI movies) isn't up to par. Textures are blurry, even by 2005 standards. There's a reason this movie wasn't ever localized into english. That's not to say it's bad exactly, it just demands a lot of the audience.

Started up Inuyasha the other day been meaning to watch it forever. Watched bits and pieces of the show when it was airing on Toonami when I was in middle school  around a decade ago. Think I tried to watch it again a few years ago but didn't get very far before getting distracted by something else.

Inu Yasha starts to drag the farther on it goes. I've never been able to make it all the way to the end.
