So tempted to buy the other TrakBall as well for a PC mod. Both of the units have sticking rollers. I took apart the one I bought; an easy fix of cleaning the Pool Ball, roller shafts and lubricating all the roller bearings with a bit of 3in1 oil. TrakBall now has a smooth rapid spin; can't remember if any of the two player games in the 5200 have a two Trakball option.

i have an extra box for one that i need to get rid of if you want it.

He was talking about SNES and Genesis having issues.

I've never heard of these 'notorious' issues with TG-16s.

The capacitors start to leak causing sound loss. It's kind of hard to find a stock TG-16 in this day and age that hasn't had at least minor leaking even if it hasn't started to effect performance yet. It's pretty common for modders to just replace all the capacitors.

Guess I got lucky then because the sound seems fine

Went around to the pawns and gamestop today after being cooped up by the snow for a few days.

Gamestop

Crush3d-$2.59 Sealed

While I don't have a 3ds yet I have been watching for cheaper games so that I can have a good collection going when I get around to it. They have apparently retagged all the new copies of this game to used so it's not a bad pick up. Really liked Crush on the PSP as well so I figure I'll enjoy this one.

Untold Legends Dark Kingdoms(PS3)- $2.59

Another PS3 exclusive I've been meaning to pick up.

Myth Makers Super Kart GP(Wii)- $2.59

I always have a few spare buck for a kart racer while it's no Mario Kart I felt it was worth a shot at that price  .

The Bureau Xcom Declassified(360)- $10 "New"

Probably would have passed had I known it was their last copy but whatever :P. Been meaning to play this for a while now.

Pawns

Wendy Any Witch Way(GBC)- $3

Passed this one up a week ago but drew my interest when someone mentioned it had enhancements when played on the GBA. Gameplay looked pretty solid on youtube as well.

Boom Blox Bash Party(Wii)-$5

Addictive little game think I may already have it but I wasn't 100% sure.

They had a bunch of NES games mostly junk sports titles marked at $5 each. Talked them down to $4 and picked up Star Tropics, Side Pocket, and QIX for $4 each. Qix isn't really what I was expecting, but apparently it was one of the better deals I got today. I've also been meaning to pick up Star Tropics for a while so it was nice to find it in the wild. Finally I already had Side Pocket for the Genesis but I had this game back when I had my first NES 15+ years ago so the nostalgia got me  .

Finally I picked up Project Eden for $3 since it sounds interesting. To bad I don't have enough people for co-op since it supports up to 4 players which would be awesome :).

Would the server even be online anymore for a PS2 game?

Project Eden has four player local co-op with Split Screen. I have the 4 player adapter and controls I just lack any local gamer friends  .

Finally found a local game store that sells import Saturn games, and at a decent price to boot. Picked up Dragon Force and Street Fighter Zero for $8 each. I also got to play on a vectrix they had there. Very Cool

PCEngineFX.com kicks it around a lot, seems pretty common. I had mine recapped when I sent it to get YPbPr modded because caps are cheap and it's an easy fix to do.

Speaking of which, I think recapping systems is going to be where I start to teach myself soldering. Because I need to learn to do it, and it's an easy fix.

... and because the sound on my big red is kinda quiet on one channel :(
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

You and me both.
I've been meaning to buy a game gear cap kit and giving that a go as well. Sounds like great soldering practice and also going to be a much needed service as time goes on I imagine.

Also, cool pickup on Wendy. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for this at local shops but havn't had much luck. Is this a necessarily rare cart to find in the wild?

Edit: looks like you can get a sealed copy on Amazon for $35 which is pretty cool.

Family Video:

Rock Band 3 (PS3) - $6
Farming Simulator (360) - $10
MLB 2K13 (360) - $10

None of these were on sale but my neighbor was working so I asked. I think they have a copy of Jurassic Park for 360 that I need to try to get.
