Why did you use the Kyle Reece picture from Terminator? We all know Konami stole it, but it still has nothing to do with Metal Gear.

Snake as we know him now wouldn't be very retro.
I think he was going for a modern NES look -- very cool.

And I didn't realize they stole it from Terminator

Cool I wouldn't have recognized the Terminator picture.
I've only seen the first movie once.

its because konami stole Kyle Reece picture from terminator that it has everything to do with metal gear (at least to me anyway)

because i saw the Kyle reece on terminator and then i saw him on metal gear, my 6 or 8 year old mind just put two together and thought "great actor, great game, great movie - wow that f@$#ing COOL" and after that day - ive always seen snake played by the actor Michael Biehn. Back in da day me and my pal use to think how cool it would be if he was snake in the metal gear movie. Its just my little wallpaper dedicated to the movie me and my bro always wanted to see.

its just too bad konami did not keep the likeness.

I'm a children's illustrator now, I did some work for an obscure but amazingly hardcore company in the video game industry. I'm interested to see if any of you recognize it or were around for our little revolution that brought Nintendo to its knees.
