Beatnix, sorry to hear that. Condolences. It's too short, but at least the ride was good my friend.

Beatnix, I am sorry for your loss. People out there sometimes say silly things like, "Its just an animal," but it is so far from the truth. They are companions through life. Through tough times and good they are there. She will be missed man.

Thanks for the kind words. I got her as my first marriage was falling apart and she's been a constant during the many changes my life has gone through since that time. She's definitely family. Going to be a long drive to the vet this afternoon. I tend to have a gruff, alpha male, tough guy persona... But not tonight. I'll be teary eyed and unashamed of it.

not to be a complete bummer... here's a pic of Albert, the pup we got this summer. this little dofus will hopefully be around a long time before I have to post any sad news about him. although I'm sure he's going to miss Lily's very casual attitude about his humping!

They're getting on in years now but still active enough.

Very placid in nature and great with the kids.

I have got to start learning better times to scratch her stomach...she was literally licking her self and i reached for her stomach and she flipped in that position. Sometimes I swear this dog is so crazy...
