Ha, I can understand that. I'd just slowly pick things up as I go. Really, the Duo and MVS/AES are the last two major systems I'd like to have in my collection. Well, that, and I need to reobtain an Intellivision. Wish I'd never let go of that one!

Some of my recent purchases:
Strikers 1945 (SS) - pretty excited about this one since I only have a few shumps on the saturn and been meaning to flesh out the collection quite a bit. I'm definitely a big vertical shump fan so I'm going to try and get a couple more of those.

Muramasa (Wii) - Can't wait till this comes in the mail. I've been trying to collect every game with a strong Japanese influence and this one was very high on my list.

Magic Knight Rayearth (import SS) - Already played this and I Love this game. It's really a fun action rpg. The boss battles are fun and the character interactions are hilarious.

Just got these two off of eBay. Ordered them on Monday, and they got here today (which is shocking, since eBay's tracking said they wouldn't be here until this Monday).

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (Wii U): $7.99
Perfect Dark Zero (360): $4.49

Overall spent: $12.48

Haven't played either yet, though, as I just got them in the mail; but they should work, since the discs barely have any wear on them. :)
This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

You're right. I should have gotten the Amiga version of Quake and Game.com version of MK Trilogy.

At least you'd be using better controllers.

Got a bunch of PS2 games today. Nothing great, just expanding my library.
Arc the Lad: End of Darkness
Arc the Lad: Twighlight of the Spirits
Ridge Racer V
Splashdown
Sky Odyssey
Ferrari Challenge
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
Enthusia (I was reading this actually a decent sim)
Ace Combat 04
IHRA Professional Drag Racing (I know these are bad, but I was a drag racing fan in HS)
Dave Mirra Frestyle BMX 2 (loved part 1 on DC)
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

I also got The Order: 1886 Collector's Edition (preordered in June and forgot to cancel!)
