Re: What are you playing?
I've been playing Paper Mario (n64) for the first time ever, FOR FREE, thanks to the final Club Nintendo promotion. R.I.P. You will be missed.
AMD Ryzen™ 9 7900X // MSI GAMING X TRIO GeForce RTX 3090

Re: What are you playing?
MK: Deception, Final Fantasy X-2 and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
Re: What are you playing?
Just started up Fuse(360). Liking it a lot to bad I don't have Gold anymore since 4 player co-op would be awesome, but even solo I am finding it pretty enjoyable.
Re: What are you playing?
I just got a DX11 video card so I can play Shadow of Mordor.
I love it.
I love it.
Final Fantasy IX is the best one
Re: What are you playing?
Kid Icarus II: Of Myths and Monsters... NOT loving it, just trying to survive it...
Between retro games though I'm knee deep in Diablo 3 Season 2 and just installed the SkySaga alpha this morning before work!

Much like the original, KI 2 gets easier as you progress. It's tough to start, but by the end you'll be just fine if you stick with it that long.

I've been playing Fantasy Life for the last few days. What a fun little action RPG and simulation combo
I'm about 7 hours in and having a blast so far. And I haven't even changed my profession yet. I've been middling around as a woodcutter the whole time. Not sure what I want to switch to first yet.

I'm about 20 hours into this. I advise going to miner and fisherman after woodcutter - the reason being that once you learn the woodcutting, mining and fishing skills you can always use them, so you can gather wood, ore and fish whilst training in one of the combat focused jobs, ready for one of the crafting jobs.Michi wrote:I've been playing Fantasy Life for the last few days. I actually think the combat jobs are the least useful in general, as they don't support the other jobs as well. I still have yet to try Paladin and Mercenary.
Here's the jobs worth trying because they offer advantages imo:
Woodcutter - gather wood (useful for blacksmith and carpenter)
Miner - gather ore (as above)
Fisherman - gather fish (not that useful, but once you learn it you can do it whenever)
Blacksmith - make better tools for Miner, and tailor, make better weapons
Carpenter - make better tools for woodcutter and fisherman
Mage - Healing ability
Tailor - Make better armour
Alchemist - Make potions & accessories
The others have advantages too, but these are the ones that have proven most useful to me.

Re: What are you playing?
I was off sick from work a couple of weeks ago and decided to start up Metroid II: Return of Samus to pass the time. I hadn't played this game before. Well, the time is still passing and I'm still working on it. It's a lot of fun but it REALLY needs a map screen. I've been using the online maps quite frequently.
Re: What are you playing?
Been playing GTA IV ofr a few days now. If my "missions completed" percent tells me anything, it's that I'll be playing this game for months before I beat it.
The open world seems massive, and I haven't even scratched the surface. It also seems to be more difficult than the previous entries, with the missions being longer and sometimes take place in acts.
And why would a police officer kill someone for not paying a toll?
Same smut stories as III, Vice, and Andreas that are full of unlikeable characters, same ribald humor, but what else would you expect from a GTA game?
