turn-based strategy on 360

Post by Lazer »

I played C&C Tiberium Wars, and I don't think RTS is for me (at least on console). Are there any turn-based strategy games for 360 (or PS3) in the vein of Advanced Wars?

Civilization: Revolution is the only one I can think of.

BAD! Anybody who has played an RTS knows that you at least need a mouse. A keyboard is often very useful to as you can map shortcuts to make micromanagement about 30x easier.

Spectral Force 3 is turn-based strategy (can't ouch for how good it it though)
I think Operation Darkness *might* be as well

(or PS3) ...Disgaea.

Not as popular genre as once upon a time... Pity, as these are pretty much the only RPG type games I can get into... New Fire Emblem Games for Wii and DS tho, as well as 2x Advance Wars DS games and a fair few turn based PSP games.

I don't know of any for 360, but if you have a ps2 there's quite a few for both that and ps1. Like the Disgea games already mentioned, and Final Fantasy tactics.

Settler of Catan is a turn-based strategy game. It's based on the board game of the same name. It's a great game and you should get it.

I really wish a Valkyria Chornicles port would come out for the 360, but don't think it'll ever happen.
