Can you really "touch" an XBLA game though?

Physically, no.
Emotionally, yes.

Tonight I might start Bastion or Elysium Tales. Or From Dust. I have a lot of Xbla games gone untouched.
If you haven't played Bastion, I would highly recommend it. I enjoyed it immensely and loved the soundtrack. It is a great mixture of modern and classic gaming conventions, with a unique storytelling method and a unique original idea.

Agreed! It's such a uniquely atmospheric title. I've not yet beaten it, but I will say that it has the best implementation of VO narration I've ever seen in any game.

Shame on you! Beat it now! The ending is where it is at! Few games give such a thrill! Short sentences! Exclamation points! Those last two aren't even sentences!

Who else is playing through Majora's Mask for 3DS? So far, I've made it through the first dungeon, grabbed a few masks, and 5 pieces of heart. I had forgotten in the past 15 years since I last played it how deep and expansive the game was.

It's on my list, but unfortunately, said list is pretty long

I'm closing in on the end of Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon for DS, and I finished up Lost Kingdoms II for Gamecube at the weekend. Then it's time for game C and game D of my alphabet marathon!

Really loving MGS: Peace Walker- it's not nearly as incredible as 1, 2, or 3, but it's perfect for my busy work schedule right now to come home, play a few missions, and go to bed.

I've been playing a bunch of Saints Row IV with Cronozilla. We have spent a good 7 hours in the game and have done an entire 2 story quests. We mostly have been playing our own version of golf involving humans and a tentacle bat, as well as losing our obsessive compulsive minds over collecting the bajillions of data clusters.

Banjo Kazooie Syndrome at its finest.

Just started up The Walking Dead Survival Instincts on the 360. Really should have moved on to another game after the first level because as I had heard it is pretty poorly made game, but for whatever reason I stuck to it and now I'm 3+ hours in so I might as well finish it since it's only around 5 hours long. This is the most half assed game I have played in a long time feels like a Half Life 2 PC mod just uglier  . At least I only paid $5 but even that feels like to much  .
