Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

Re: College Advice?
Disclaimer: I've spent way more time on 4chan than anyone who hopes to stay mentally healthy should.
@Forlorn: I don't know for sure what you do online besides post here, but you really really sound like the guys who used to dominate /r9k/ before moot went insane. I can't know if you frequent that place (and the alternate /r9k/s that have popped up on other sites), but your complaints and complete disregard of any advice given to you smacks so hard of the depressed, angsty mental masturbation that I've seen over there. If you're spending your time amongst those sorts of people, seriously, just stop. It's not good for you and it's a complete waste of time.

Or just stop trying to help him since it's become pointless. Hasn't it been years on here now? Feels like it.
Just saying. lol

Accusing me of 4chan? Oh that's a whole 'nother level of insult.

Nah dude, there's plenty of cool and funny anons on 4chan, despite the media's representation of the website. Some of the good boards are the smaller SFW boards no one ever talks about like /vr/ (retrogaming), /k/ (weapons), and /ck/ (cooking). There's plenty of terrible people too, but they mainly stick to places like /b/ and /pol/. Or they've migrated over to 8chan.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Accusing me of 4chan? Re: College Advice?
You should see a psychologist. You need to learn how to cope with your depression and your sociopatchic views. You need to learn how to empathize with other people and gain some self-steem.
Until then, I don't think there's anything we can do to help you.

I think it is time we cut Forlorn a break on this. He has heard what we had to say, no need to keep barking up this particular tree any longer. The most you can hope to accomplish is making him upset. His reponses which have become less frequent and less robust would indicate he doesn't feel comfortable going any further with it. How about that college stuff ladies and gents?
I'm not trying to moderate y'all or anything, just saying the last few pages looks like a bit of a lynch mob. I'm guilty myself, and I know intentions are well placed. There seems little point in arguing any further though. If he doesn't want to talk about it, let's just respect that.

Re: College Advice?
Depression? Not depressed. Sociopathic? Not even close, and its offensive you suggest such a thing.. Empathize? When someone empathizes with me, in a real way, not telling me to go take happy pills, I might start to. Self esteem? Nice way of saying ego.Erik_Twice wrote:You should see a psychologist. Your massive denial about your depression is so bad that it almost makes me depressed.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Depression? Not depressed. Sociopathic?
