Get it. I played through it last year, and while it is short, it is a lot of fun. (It is like Metal Storm...For Kids!) It is certainly worth $3.Fragems wrote:That sounds interesting I'll have to check that out. Yup, PS3/360 games are cheap for quality titles that sold tons. Here's a list of the 3 for $10 games at Gamestop right now (3 for $9 if you have PUR).Exhuminator wrote:Because it's in the generational transition sweet spot right now. This is why I never buy a new console until right when its successor has been released. Everybody's dumping their PS3 stuff on the market to have cash for buying PS4 stuff. Those of us who take advantage of this means we're playing old games but we're gettin' dem deals son.Ashrei wrote:I'm having trouble understanding why the PS3 prices are so unbelievably cheap.
I've picked up about 12 of these myself for ~$36...or about half the cost of a new game. All CIB and black label.

Don't understand why uncharted 2 & 3 are both on here but not 1?

I posted/predicted this on here some time ago, that around this time things would be a lot more expensive. The popularity and the sheer awesomeness of video games for entertainment is a reason, therefore more people become hip to it and demands soars everyone's doing it.
Best to start thinking about future rare games to keep your hobby affordable with a good chance of a value increase once that system has people looking back for stuff. I recommend getting bunch of cheap Wii, 360, PS3 games now and as Chain stores start off loading them for nothing after the dust settles you will see which games go up, scarcity, hidden gems and alike. Just my 2 cents, of course this may take some time but history does repeat its self.

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

We all know all those blasted moe-style C-tier RPGs are gonna be worth money down the road... but I can't bring myself to spend money on them.
Re: Game collecting is not what it once was
Good money is always on RPGs, but really any games with good mechanics/game play. Also it's always a good idea to pick up exclusives titles when they are cheap. Other then that you can look for games with low print runs or which only focused on a niche market that wasn't likely to bring a ton of sales like Farm Simulator, and etc.
Just do what I do browse through gamestop.com or amazon, research(aka check out youtube) any games you might be interested in, and keep an eye out for them in the wild. If you see stuff drop below $10 new or $5 used that you think you might actually enjoy pick it up since prices usually won't go much lower.

Hopefully consumers realize how terrible most of those games are and they remain cheap. If I see people spending $200 on Atelier Taylor Swift or whatever 15 years from now I will cry.
