Final Fantasy XII is the best Final Fantasy not named Final Fantasy VI.

I had fun with Final Fantasy II (aka the black sheep of the series).
So really, I can't trust anyone's opinion on the series anymore .

That being said, I must admit to not having played anything past FFIX (which I am still trying to muster motivation to finally finish my late game save of the game before I move on to anything else in the series).

Sometimes I think I'm a little too Manic/Depressive, as an RPG fan I mean, to properly enjoy them.

If you enjoyed the first half, I definitely recommend going back at some point. The game gets even better as you go through, and has one of the better endings/end-games in the series for me. My only real complaint is that Vaan is lame, and Reddas outshines most, if not all of the playable characters, but the overall story and especially the fights in the game are some of the best. The game is worth playing just to face Yiazmat (Just don't wimp out and look up strats on him).

As dead as the horse is, I always like seeing people talk about their love and hate for FF. Especially when it comes to X and on.

Still need to get to XIII-2. Maybe I'll start that after PDS.

The fact that you have to force yourself to finish the game tells you what you need to know. FFIX is the most overrated game in the franchise. You've already seen the best parts by now. The last third is nothing but turds.

Chocobo Hot and Cold is pretty fun.

Otherwise agreed, the game doesn't really do too much in its end times. The best part about the end of the game is the music.
