Agreed. I can't see its inclusion when the best argument for it so far is:
you have a game that rivals the Sims
what's the opposite of "high" praise?
Serious troll. Though the Sims in its current fashion is trite, that doesn't mean that when the two were fresh series and competing for attention, that Animal Crossing was a much more enjoyable experience.

The game had much more appeal and you had more connection to the characters and your villagers. Tell me of any other game that continued on in real time, with events happening, integrated into the calendar. There's almost always something going on in the game. Yes, there's chores and tasks, but if that's all you try to do, then sure the game could get boring. If you play it for 15 to 30 minutes a day, it's easy to keep fresh. If you're bingeing, then that's where it could get stale and you run out of things to do.

The SIms is the worst. I bought the first one right around release, played a good bit of it for a few weeks, and have been baffled by the series' success ever since. I think it has something to do with nude mods.

Seems you are still mystified that SMB was voted best Monkey Ball for Gamecube via an unbiased poll on Racketboy.

What would make you accept Animal Crossing, Dave?

mjmjr25 wrote:As has been stated (repeatedly); Monkey Target is THE mini-game and it is completely different in SMB2. So when it says "all the party games are here" - does the PS2 version have TWO version of Monkey Target? If not, then no, this doesn't make SMB1 obsolete.
So here you go: video of Monkey Target DX on the PS2. Both Monkey Shot games, 1 package. I think it is safe to say we can remove Monkey Ball from the Gamecube List

As consolation, you get to watch me fall in the water twice.

I couldn't make it to the end of the video. I got so bored during the load times.

Keep finding excuses  . You are the one who suggested that if a game is better elsewhere, it probably shouldn't be here. The PS2/Xbox compilation gives you the two full GCN Monkey Ball games + their mini games + ~50 extra levels. It is clearly the best choice for Monkey Ball action. The Xbox also has improved load times, if that is your new hang up.

So, after all that debate the conclusion is that neither Monkey Ball game should be on the list? Okay then.

That MB Deluxe slowdown though. Not a big deal in Normal, pretty brutal in Advance courses.

Does the box fix this as well?

What's actually the difference between Monkey Target on Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2? I can't even remember and the only difference I saw on dsheinem's video, was he was able to select more than one ball.
