Well I finally hit a brick wall in FF1  . After breezing through everything in the game so far I reached the lower level of the Earth Gift Shrine only to get my ass handed to me by all of the bosses. Didn't realize it was an optional dungeon though so I guess I will pass on it for now until my characters gain a little more hp. The bosses aren't especially hard and I can hold my own against them for a good while but at lvl 26 they are simply mopping the floor with me when they cast their AOE elemental attacks. Two of those in a row pretty much wipes my whole team even with elemental damage nullification spells up :P.

Definitely going to complete it planning to try and beat at least a good chunk of the FF series this year since I own at least one version of each game in the series now. However I might take a nice long break(2-5 other games) before starting two.

Definitely not going to drop it without finishing it like i did with III,VII,VIII,IX,X, XII, XIII-2, and Tactics Advanced  . As sad as it is the only Final Fantasy game i have ever completed is XIII :P so I'm trying to make up for that.

Beside my PC gaming, I really like playing Clash of Clan, such a debated game, I personally love playing it, more strategy than most people would expect!

Welp, I beat Alien Isolation but it'll take me a while to unpack what I think of it. Lots right but as much wrong.

Putting FF1 to the side for now and just playing it for an hour or two each night so I don't get burnt out.

Going back to my PS gaming spree and checking out Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire for the PS3. Game looks really promising and I love me some mecha action :).

I'm playing three games right now at varying intervals...

Single player, it's been Uncharted: Golden Abyss on Vita. I'm near the end. It's a decent game but from what I've seen of the PS3 versions this is a poor man's Uncharted experience. Killer graphics though.

Diablo 3 - Ultimate Evil Edition via three player co-op on 360. Been playing this with my fiance and daughter, they both enjoy it quite a bit. Great loot crawler, but we had to raise the difficulty up to "Hard" because "Normal" was a press A to win joke. "Hard" is pretty easy too honestly. Fun game though for sure.

Army Of Two via two player co-op on 360. Playing this split-screen with my fiance, and so far it's rather good. Very solid third person cover shooting. But, that's all this game is. Going through it multiplayer is very entertaining due to how much you have to rely on one another, but single player would likely get boring fast.

Mostly Bust a Move. I've been super-excited to play on my new big red, but I REALLY only enjoy fighters against another person, and until my package comes from Paradise Arcade I have 3 dead microswitches (which I've moved all over to 1 player) and a joystick that can't hit diagonals (which I think is also the fault of the microswitches)... so basically I have a 2l8b panel that has 1l4b working.

So Bust a Move it is!

I suppose I could slot up Magical Drop 2 or Panic Bomber, but I'm happy just leaving in the 4 games it came with for now.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

I've been playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which is my latest stop in playing through the 3d titles in the AC franchise (I'm skipping over the handheld releases with the exception of Bloodlines since PSP is my solitary handheld at this time). The gameplay in Brotherhood is probably the best in the series so far, although the story doesn't maintain the 'sweeping epic' feel in ACII. The story here is still good; it just feels a bit like an epilogue to the events in the first game.

One of my favorite quirky aspects of the game is how when you whistle for your horse, it will take the shortest distance to get to you whether that means trampling down an entire crowd of people or not. It's like setting off a horse stampede bomb in the middle of a crowd. "Uh ... sorry for the devastation folks; my pony, she's got ... spirit. A dopo!"
