Resident Evil 5 Demo is out

Post by Chrono »

I was browsing on Live today and saw the demo, but no advertising, infact it's difficult to even find.

Anybody know why they'd not tell people? Ease stress on servers maybe?

...becuz Micro$oft dusn't kare a bout u or zoMbies and onlee baught the rites so that PS3 woodn't make all of the monee.

Joking. Someone had to do it.

The advertising is probably still being out into place and it changes according to your region - ie: certain games test well in certain markets so that's where the advertising goes, whereas in my area...well, I knew UNO was out every fucking time I turned the Xbox on.

The PS3 demo releases in NA on Feb. 2nd.

U lucky 360 owners. It's for japan only, and you have to doge the region block. Google says the ps3 version will be out either feb 2 or feb 5. Let me know how it is

Its an intense action game if the demo is an example of the entire game. Survival Horror this is not. I for one don't care what style it is, the co-op seems to work well so far. Very fun.

It was out yesterday and there are no region locks. I downloaded it, haven't played it yet though.

I hadn't really been following this one. There's 2 player co-op?!

It's really similar to Gears of War, except the enemies take less shooting (mostly), the ammo runs out easily, and it's much brighter.

Still, it's brilliant fun.

It's like Capcom devs got together and said:

"Ok, we removed practically all scare and challenge with RE4, but I think we can still remove the very last bits of "survival horror" from this next one. How can we do that?"

"Oh I know! Let's allow 2-player buddy romps through the game, so the players can have each other's back and make it a tactical squad shooter!"

"Brilliant! The game will frighten absolutely no one now! PROMOTIONS!"
