Super serially... I've neither played the games nor followed the last 20 pages of banter on the other thread, but are they different enough from each other to make a distinction on an "all-time" list?

Figured they might be like Mario Galaxy 1 and 2...

Nah, they're pretty much identical, apart from the second game has more mini games and a few minor improvements.
