I broke down and grabbed it off ebay. It was a tad cheaper than the going rate at around $8 IRC in Like New condition but like you mentioned it's a tough find in person, especially complete. Most people that play it have good things to say so figured it's not gonna get much cheaper.FerretGamer wrote:Nice pick up! Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games?

I grabbed complete copies of Nitrobioke and TMNT: Smash Up from local pawn shops this morning. I am particularly excited about the second title, since it is already a bit pricey. (Also, it was developed by Game Arts - the company behind games like Thexder, Lunar: The Silver Star, and Grandia - which I find kind of strange. That said, Game Arts did co-develop Super Smash Bros. Brawl; so, I guess it did have some experience with that type of game.)

I want to get myself a copy of Smash Up too. From all the reviews I read, TMNT Smash Up is basically the same game as Brawl, but re-skinned with TMNT characters.

Nice grabs.
Smash-Up isn't an amazing game, but I think it's unfair how much flak it seems to take online. Getting compared to Smash Bros doesn't do it any favors, but the same could be said for most multiplayer fighters in this vein.
Personally, I like Smash-Up and think that (if judging on what it offers instead of what it's missing) the game is worth playing. Just haven't talked with a lot of others who feel the same way.

Not a lot of people realize but Nitrobike was developed by Left Field Productions who made the excellent Excitebike 64. It's basically a spiritual successor to it. It doesn't have the same polish but it's not a bad game at all.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I grabbed complete copies of Nitrobioke)

Ha ha man I just sold a mint complete copy of this on eBay two days ago. You gotta let people know when you're looking for stuff, I would have gave you a great deal.prfsnl_gmr wrote:TMNT: Smash Up from local pawn shops this morning.
Also the game is merely "okay". I mean it's fun for a couple hours of local multiplayer, but it's nowhere near the same league of something like Smash Bros. Don't get too excited.
The quality is not even remotely that good.samsonlonghair wrote:TMNT Smash Up is basically the same game as Brawl, but re-skinned with TMNT characters.
Honetly you guys, Smash Up is a bit overrated because it's rare and OMFG TMNT.

I just discovered that the other day, and that is why I decided to pick up the game when I found it this morning. (I have also read several recommendations on this forum.)FerretGamer wrote:Not a lot of people realize but Nitrobike was developed by Left Field Productions who made the excellent Excitebike 64. I appreciate it! The game was not on my "want" list, but when I stumbled on a copy for $3 this morning, I couldn't resist it.Exhuminator wrote:Ha ha man I just sold a mint complete copy of this on eBay two days ago. I still haven't grabbed it because of the price. It's still pretty pricey at Gamestop despite seeing it at almost every one I go to.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I appreciate it! Yea, I've seen it at quite a few as well. Hopefully that means it will can snag it when they go full blown clearance on Wii titles. If not, it probably means it won't be impossible to track down in the wild.FerretGamer wrote:I still haven't grabbed it because of the price.
