That a cool Dreamcast,it will probably get dust inside quickly unless it's in a glass case.
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade

be careful of getting dust all over the laser, and if a little pebble or somthing flies in there you get some scratchtastic discs. Maybe cover it with a cloth when not in use....although then you cant see the design then so it defeats the purpose. hmmm.....maybe add your own pieces of lucite or lexan or exen mylar in there. should be pretty cheap since its so small. Just make them over lap the inside and use a dab of epoxy. just and idea.equalsign wrote:It's cut away. There is no glass or anything.Killette wrote:Thats awesome. Is it see thru or are the pieces just removed on top?

Those were my thoughts exactly. Where exactly do you get that kinda stuff?ott0bot wrote: be careful of getting dust all over the laser, and if a little pebble or somthing flies in there you get some scratchtastic discs. There's only one word to describe that Dreamcast: Sexy! Well, I guess sweetness would work too.
Console modding/painting, for me, is definitely a lot of fun. I've done my Dreamcast (in white black and red) and my Model 2 Genesis (in red and black) and I have to admit that yours tops both of them.
PS Yep, you definitely to fill in those gaps. We wouldn't want something to slip in there and spoil that fine copy of Soul Calibur!

It looks like a butchered mod to me. I wouldn't have paid 50p for it.
The paint on the controllers is shoddy. In fact it looks like he's put on 10 layers too many of that garish red paint. Why the hell is there just gaps in the lid. I mean, if you are gonna do a window mod, at least put some cheap plastic in there instead of just cutting it away.
I bet it was the guys first mod. Does it even still work?
