You guys should have done what I often do and made a politician.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has led the Saints to victory over rival criminal gangs more than once...

Whoa. I've never heard of this game. I just added it to my "want list". :)

How is it?

It's fun, but it takes some getting used to. You have to fight against everything you know about driving games and the laws of gravity. What I mean by that is that your cart moves side-to-side on the track, but it mostly corners turns on its own. Mostly. The real trick of the game is realizing that having your car tilt halfway off the track doesn't mean that gravity will finish you off the way it should according to the laws of physics. Instead, it means you have a split second to press your joystick in the opposite direction and get back on the track. The gameplay consists almost entirely of making these corrections so that you don't fall off from turns, walls, enemy projectiles, or holes in the track.

You also have to realize you will fall off the coaster a lot. A LOT. Sometimes even for no apparent reason. The game is also so insanely fast that it is difficult to tell what is even happening with the chunky, poorly anti-aliased graphics of the Playstation era. That being said, one can get used to the controls and once you do, the joy of the game starts to become apparent. It's fun because you are careening at high velocity through these roller coasters and you barely have control. Through a lot of trial-and-error learning and track memorization, this actually begins to be thrilling, but when you don't know what's going on, it is simply frustrating. Ultimately, I felt that the game carried the thrill of a dangerous off-the-rails roller coaster ride and the colorful graphics and fast-paced metal soundtrack made the game joyful and fun.
