Nothing is as good as Ghost Squad.Exhuminator wrote:I actually beat this game a few years ago via 3 player co-op. It was -OK- but definitely not up there with the top tier point and shoots on Wii. Just don't get your hopes too high and you should have an alright evening with it. Game's also really short too.FerretGamer wrote:However, the game supports 4 players at once (or 2 players dual wield) so they will still get some use.
Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games?

Ghost Squad is tons of fun, but it's kind of short too. Even if you go back to explore the branching paths of the game, it won't take you very long at all to beat the whole game and unlock the oddball fun stuff.
I guess practically all light gun games are short. The only exception I can think of is house of the dead overkill. That one is longer than most.
God, there's so many cool lightgun shooters on wii.

Finally picked up Minicopter: Adventure Flight. It arrived a couple days ago and was happy it was in excellent shape. Another one down and a bunch more to go

Funny you mentioned that. I already have the more known Light Gun Games such as House Dead, LA Guns and Sin Punishment.samsonlonghair wrote:Ghost Squad is tons of fun, but it's kind of short too. Finally picked up Attack Movies 3D and its not as bad a game as the reviews say. CIB with 4 sets of 3d glasses and especially the actual 3d Lenticular Printing inlay in the front cover sold at of all places, used at Gamestop!
Also picked up an obscure Carnival Games shooter called Cocoto Magic Circus. Not that great but for 89 cents at Gamestop worth trying out for a Point Blank clone with accurate aim on the Wii. I bought this on the whim since seeing that character as a Cocoto Platform Jumper PAL game. Anyone in Europe play that game?
Good game, even supports the Classic Controller option. There is also an import for the orginal Xbox. This game has great control with game play similar to the PS1 RC Chopper game.Spidrmnky wrote:Finally picked up Minicopter: Adventure Flight. Nice pick up! I have not been able to find this game at all (at least complete).Spidrmnky wrote:Finally picked up Minicopter: Adventure Flight. It arrived a couple days ago and was happy it was in excellent shape. Another one down and a bunch more to go

Weighing in at about 7 hours or so, Dead Space Extraction is the longest Wii light gun shooter. It's also the best overall.samsonlonghair wrote:I guess practically all light gun games are short. The only exception I can think of is house of the dead overkill. That one is longer than most.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Pretty sure that both Resident Evil Chronicles games are longer than Dead Space Extraction, and if you are trying to unlock everything that it's not even close. However I think that Extraction is probably the best overall experience of those three... the RE shooters are great fan service but can feel a bit janky at times.Exhuminator wrote:Weighing in at about 7 hours or so, Dead Space Extraction is the longest Wii light gun shooter. I've seen the numbers on HLTB too, and I don't personally agree with them. I say that as someone who has beaten both Chronicles games and Extraction multiple times. I guess if you get hung up on the harder bosses of the Chronicles games, or if you choose to grind for upgrades in the Chronicles games, then yeah the play will be longer with those. From a sheer content perspective, Extraction proves the longer experience in my own playing.ejamer wrote:(Source: my own experience and the "How Long to Beat" website.)
All three are fantastic games though, every Wii owner should have them.*
*Although certainly not games you'd want little kids to play of course.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

I do know that the times for a lot of games over at GameFAQs are hilariously overstated. I mean, look at the NES totals! Sheesh. Not that there's a good way to choose length of time... but still!

I played Umbrella Chronicles. It didn't seem that long; on the other hand, maybe that's because I didn't go back to collect all the hidden gimmicks. I'm going to have to give Extraction a try.ejamer wrote:Pretty sure that both Resident Evil Chronicles games are longer than Dead Space Extraction, and if you are trying to unlock everything that it's not even close. Speaking of light gun games, I still love Link's Crossbow Training. This one is criminally underrated.
