Sure he has the power to trump whats called, but most HCs who are not the playcaller, leave it up to the OC.dsheinem wrote:Carroll is final arbiter and he tried to "explain" it as his decision in the postgame. Maybe he's just taking the heat, but I still think he has to make a decision to hand the ball to Lynch three times there.Jmustang1968 wrote:That was an offensive coordinator playcall, not Carrolls really. I dont even like Carroll.
He is just owning up to it, because ultimately he is the HC and doesnt want to throw his guy under the bus.

I don't listen to any radio either. But I do like uh... "girl pop". Katy, Miley, Taylor, Ariana, Avril, etc. It's good Summer music.dsheinem wrote:I actively avoid any radio station that isn't NPR. I probably recognized the one song from hearing it in stores, in commercials, or some such.noiseredux wrote:no I meant it was weird that you only recognized one song. And you're quite right, she's very self-aware. And her songs are catchy as F.
EDIT: Also, the "actively avoid any radio..." quote is begging for a Hipster Cat but I'm too lazy.

I have a friend in her mid 40s who's a hardcore Lady GaGa fan who ACTIVELY HATES Katy Perry and left the party just before the half so as to not endure it. Like, HATES.
We kept pissing her off by saying how they are essentially the same person but that, since she was doing halftime, Perry's clearly a more talented and rising star.
She didn't like that.

Should have kept referring to lady gaga as, "oh you mean the madona ripoff?".dsheinem wrote:I have a friend in her mid 40s who's a hardcore Lady GaGa fan who ACTIVELY HATES Katy Perry and left the party just before the half so as to not endure it. Like, HATES.

Ah well I would say I like Katy Perry a lot more than Lady Gaga, but that isn't saying much.dsheinem wrote:I have a friend in her mid 40s who's a hardcore Lady GaGa fan who ACTIVELY HATES Katy Perry and left the party just before the half so as to not endure it. Like, HATES.

Re: NFL 2014 Thread
I saw this going viral in a bad way and I was thinking when I first watched it "omg, they can't take sad messages even if it's a campaign to inform parents to take better care of their kids?"....and then I realized it wasn't a government run campaign or an NGO, it was an insurance company.....yeah, that's fucked up

Fixed that for you.noiseredux wrote:you guys are weird. Katy Perry's chest is great. Y'all need to watch This Is The Part Of Me on Netflix.
And that game was...that was something. I didn't have a dog in that fight, but damned if that wasn't at turns amazing, bizarre, and heartbreaking.
