I guess i'm getting in to the amiibo thing, now that I own 7 it's official.

I just picked up Bowser and Toon Link at a Toys R' Us. I had heard that some TRU stores were just stocking them as they arrived. I left two bowsers sitting in the store because I didn't want to be one of those people that ruins it for everyone.

I'm just bummed the Mega Man and Sonic I pre-ordered won't be available till the end of February.

AJ if my Amazon preorder goes through, that'll leave me with an extra Toon Link -- I'll hang on to him unless you find one in the wild.

Much appreciated, but I think I'll be alright. He seems easy enough to find right now, I just didnt have the money to justify buying them all. I preordered Rosalina, Lucario and Ike a couple months back, and Sheik and Bowser a friend bought me in return for a Villager and Marth I found for him.

My big amiibo wants right now:

1. Find a place I can preorder Ness - only ones I've seen are sold out already
2. Find a place I can preorder Metaknight - as above
3. Find a Little Mac.

... - unfortunately Metaknight isnt one of them and he seems to be sold out everywhere already.

Is he a store exclusive over there as well? Metaknight went surprisingly fast. Our Best Buy over here had to put up signs in the amiibo section about a couple weeks ago pretty much saying that the ad in the paper was wrong and you couldn't actually pre-order them anymore.

Nope, no store exclusives at all over here. That said, he still sold out much faster than I was expecting, and it looks like he'll be one of the rarer ones in wave 3.

So my store just got in our amiibos. Looks like Sheik will most likely be the must have from the series. Our break down was as such.

Stopped at ToysRUs this afternoon. Lucario is/was available at most stores today. I saw one behind the counter with my own eyes. The associate told me they received (3) of them, all first-come-first-serve, and as you can imagine they sold immediately. All the rest sold were in-store, voucher pre-sells. Here's hoping my online order goes through!

If there's one thing I've learned about Amiibos, it's that none of them are safe. I am also waiting for the email.

I haven't heard anything about my Meta Knight or Shulk yet either. It looks like Gamestop has a release date of 2/13 for Shulk, but Best Buy is being weird, giving Meta Knight a date of 12/31 So who knows when he'll show up. I haven't gotten a cancellation email, though, so I'm taking that as a good sign

Just got back from Target. My store received 4 Rosalina, and they all sold shortly after 8. Anyone want to do me a solid?

Had to drive 30 miles to get to my nearest target. Got there at roughly 7:20 and there were a few cars already. More people showed up and as soon as I saw people getting out of cars around 7:35ish I got in line and was 4th. The store had around 30-40 Rosalina's, and prob 30 people showed up, though I think it was really people would wanted them not resellers. The store was cool, limit 1 per customer and we all walked single file back to electronics. So I got the Rosalina I wanted and a Sheik for my trouble of having the drive 60 miles total today.

I will say I met a really cool couple that were first in line. so there was great conversation.
