I'm in for Mighty No9 when that pops up, but I'm opposite on the other, if that game was a lot like MMX you couldn't pay me to play it.

Sounds....interesting? I don't know, not a fan of high score/speed runs, I like beating hte game to be the main challenge. But I'll reserve my judgement till I see it, I'll buy it anyway.

I'm skeptical that Mighty No. 9 is going to turn out well because it's not close enough mechanically to the original series. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like several of the X games, but I'm afraid this just isn't going to turn out anywhere near what the hype is for it.

Shovel Knight, on the other hand, completely fulfilled my expectations and then some, so maybe I'm wrong! But I will remain skeptical until the game is out and I have played it.

I think it'll be good, but probably not Shovel Knight good.

I've heard a lot of different opinions on all sides of the spectrum based on the beta, so I'll just wait til it comes out and judge it then.

I feel kind of   about this, since I found shovel knight bloated and bland. To it's his own of course, I just didn't enjoy it and I was REALLY looking forward to it :(

Shovel Knight is like 10000000X better than Freedom Planet

The whole game is just uneven. The characters are like a menagerie of Sonic's most annoying friends and the "cutscenes" are just unbearable. I couldn't skip fast enough. It has some nicely done levels and spritework...but there's a lot (beyond the final boss fights) that I found to be lacking.

By contrast, Shovel Knight is just about perfect.
