If Beach Spikers gets an honorable mention then 1080 Avalanche and Wave Race: Blue Storm should as well. Also, no love for Mario Power Tennis, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat or either Pikmin!!!

I'd +1 Power Tennis

I thought Pikmin made the top 30?

SSX Tricky was much better than 1080.

Wave Race (N64) was a top 10 game on that system. Granted GCN had improved graphics, but that was it. N64 is still the go to on that one.

^I think someone's messing with me. It's supposed to be Pikmin. Fixed.

I'm happy with this list.

Other than Battalion Wars - i'm familiar with most everything - so that is the one I am definitely picking up. I may pick up Killer 7 again too...

There are 3 games I don't think belong, but cases were made that I guess are compelling enough.

Soul Calibur II - I don't like this series at all so i'm already biased. The inclusion of Link is strong too.

Ikaruga - I understand this is the the only US console release, so for that reason, it makes sense that it would qualify, it just wouldn't make my personal list.

Pacman vs - anything that requires additional peripherals to be enjoyed is a turn-off to me, but if the gameplay is that strong, then it should of course stay.

Replacing Piglets Big Move apparently so wasn't on the list when I wrote it. Besides, Pikmin 2 still isn't on the list unless it was added to honorary mention.

As 1080 while SSX Tricky and 1080 are both snowboarding games they are both very different and good. SSX is much more an arcade type experience while 1080 leans towards a simulated type experience, it depends upon preference to which game a person enjoys more. As for Wave Race, I disagree and like the Gamecube version much more but that's my preference.

I know the list is pretty much complete, but is anyone else familiar with Smuggler's Run Warzones? This was a recent $5 pickup for me and it's just great. It's a Gamecube exclusive. Tons of single player missions, and lots of potential multiplayer craziness too, and dat soundtrack.

I think there is still arguments to be made for titles. I know there are a few yet I expected to get mentions but haven't...by all means, suggest and argue for more. I'm hoping there are more quality titles I was unaware of. I just saw tonight for the first time ever that Auto Modelista had a GCN version - I had no idea.

There were no mentions of Spyro, Crash, Tak, Ty or any other platformers. Dragon's Lair, Spirits and Spells, The Hobbit, Gladius, etc...lots of stuff I don't know a ton about, but maybe no one does...or maybe they just aren't any good...

^I don't know about the rest of the Spyro games, but I've played A New Beginning and I remember it being very boring and repetitive. Just a lot of fighting the same enemies over and over.

I've also played Tak & The Power of Juju and remember not liking it, but I haven't played it in a long time so I can't remember if I had a good reason for not liking it or not. I think I softlocked the game though so that could of been the only reason why I didn't like it.
(I'm actually curious now if anyone liked it)

I haven't played a lot of Gamecube games, so unfortunately there aren't many more that I can comment on haha

I've played Tak, Crash, and Spyro and found them to just be ok 3D platformers. I don't think Crash or Spyro are anywhere close to as good as their PS1 predecessors or even the GBA games.

I'd also endorse Mario Baseball Sluggers, Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2, and Gun.

Their are a few games I'm wondering if people have played and how they are.
Goblin Commander
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-3 - I know these have unlockable games on them but how are the games themselves?
