They were in cahoots like almost every other site. Not that they weren't capable of producing good stuff, but the whole industry is a sham. I pretty much get all my unbiased news from Angry Joe. He's not necessarily a guy I'd hang out with, but he knows his stuff and is right in that sweet spot of "really popular so he gets some access but not popular enough to be on the take constantly".

So let's get all of our video game journalism from heavily opinionated vloggers who are sure to be "unbiased."

That had to be a link fail. Sarcasm on the rest of it aside, over the years I've seen enough from their reviews and opinions I put them on the bottom of the list of mainstream large sized media sites.

I've already gone over the "no one is truly unbiased" bit. Plus I'm not advocate everyone listen to the guy, not at all. I just like listening to people that can more or less say whatever they want and not fear some huge company is going to stop sending the hookers and blow so to speak.
