Re: How about Apple making the 74 Billion last quarter?!
I am curious about the ROI per iphone sold. Most people I know who have them got them because they were the free phone with the plan. That or they had to have them for work.
Dont mind DSH. In the past we have had bots come through with posts like this then disappear. The fact that you responded means that you are atleast a person.

Is anyone really surprised? Why do you think they control the entire ecosystem (phone to carrier to app store/itunes) with an iron fist? It's not great for the consumer, but the consumer doesn't really seem to give a shit, so there ya go.

I am new to Apple products, they are on my mind quite often, but I am in no way a bot or any of that jazz.

I hear complaints that the 1% own much of everything, which are justified gripes, but people are such enablers. Once you stop drinking Starbucks, eating McDonald's, ordering from Amazon, bidding on eBay, buying brand-name gadgets, buying foreign products etc etc etc you'll find that people will find some work to do again. Instead what little we have is being pumped into fewer and fewer mega-corporations. Money-printing aka quantitative easing isn't helping either.. Boy what a mess.

yea I agree, I keep a level head about it all but I recently got a new Macbook Air from my University and since then I notice a lot of Apple news, like the recent one.irixith wrote:Is anyone really surprised? And that's why you should play video games, folks. Because only with video games will you not be giving money to evil mega corporations.Pulsar_t wrote:I hear complaints that the 1% own much of everything, which are justified gripes, but people are such enablers. Looking at it like that yes, you are correct and it is a big issue. I recently have taken attention to the "Micro homes" of the world, it is a newer home movement that enables people to live off the grid and sustain themselves and their house without the need of electricity, running water, or sewage.Pulsar_t wrote:I hear complaints that the 1% own much of everything, which are justified gripes, but people are such enablers. A pretty interesting idea for the future.
