Wayne Tunnel in Bothell, WA. Does anyone else feel the sudden urge to play Starfox 64 when looking at this?

Because some pics of Paris invaders were posted, I think people may want to know about the artist:

He put up several mosaics in other cities, I've seen a few in person within European cities.

Listen to the cacophonous chaos of countless crows clamoring through the uncalm sky!

OK, enough alliteration. I took this last night. There was this god awful noise along the Sammamish River Trail, and as I got closer, there were just thousands of crows flying overhead everywhere. It was insane! I've never seen or heard so many all in one place. It felt so dramatic to walk the trail at night with thousands of ravens swirling overhead.

Wow, cool Ivo! I thought they were just sporadic. Neat to put a name to an artist. I think I saw about 3 or 4 of his works total, but only managed to get a good shot of those two. Thanks for sharing! :)

Unfortunately a bunch of them get destroyed rather quickly. I am not sure if the respective city halls remove them, but it is clear some people try to take them home. Some people even sell fakes on ebay, it is not hard to reproduce the images sadly.
In his website Invader states he uses weak tiles and strong glue so that people trying to remove them will destroy them, to discourage people from both removing them and buying fakes online.

I was looking for several from a 2013 "invasion" in 2014, and there were many that I was pretty sure I was at the right place and weren't there anymore. In a couple of cases there where traces of tiles or glue left.

I was also in another city that had some from 2000 and I could only find 3 of over 20 that had been placed.

Gasworks in Seattle, WA.

I always get kind of a Half Life 2 vibe when I'm here.

From the Squak Mountain forests:

I don't usually like the sight of cut trees, but these ones reminded me of my favorite abstract sculpture at the Seattle Center.
